From the Los Angeles Times:

1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.

2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in Los Angeles are Spanish speaking.

10. In L.A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish. (There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County.)

(All 10 of the above facts were published in the Los Angeles Times)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States' annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

This is what happens in a Democratic state!

********************************

Republican Club GV-Sahuarita

invites you to our Annual Meeting
    Friday, December 12, 2014
held at

Friends In Deed

301 W Camino Casa Verde, GV

at 12:30 P.M.

Election of Officers

CANDIDATES FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Meet the candidates for the RCGV/S Board. The RCGV/S Board has eleven members, each of whom is elected for a 3-year term. That means that every year 3-4 positions become vacant as our Board members retire. Four members have completed their terms: Billie Morton, Dick Newman, Vinnie Schweda and Jim Stone. We thank them for their service.

We have four candidates for these open positions: two of them, Vinnie and Jim, are interested in continuing and have been nominated to do so. We have two new candidates, Bill Gill and Myron Joy, both of whom are experienced and bring excellent qualifications to our group. Everyone’s biography is available in our November newsletter.

Member notification of the candidates for the Board must be done 30 days prior to the election, so the slate was distributed in our November newsletter. You must be present to vote (no proxies are accepted). It is imperative that we have all RCGV/S members present at this meeting, as a quorum is required.

Pizza and beverages will be provided, so come to this critical meeting and elect our new Board members. Dick Newman, elected county official, will swear in the new members at this meeting. Participate in the future of your Republican club.

Bill Gill
I moved from Southern California in 1993 to the beautiful state of Arizona. I have worked in the accounting and tax business for the last 38 years and am still self-employed as a CPA in Sahuarita. I grew up in a Democratic family and was one of ‘those people’ until I had to put up with four years of Jimmy Carter, so I guess you could call me a Reagan Republican. I was not active in politics until I was blessed with six years of President Obama, with two more years to go. We need to change the way our country is headed and get conservative Republicans elected. I will do my best to attain that end result.

Myron Joy
I moved to Green Valley about ten years ago, after retiring from being the managing partner and majority shareholder in Joy & Associates CPAs, with primary offices in Phoenix, Arizona. I was raised in a conservative family in Denver, Colorado, and graduated from the University of Denver. I have supported the Republicans all of my life. Until recently my political involvement has been relatively light. In the last few years, however, I have come to understand that if like-minded conservatives don’t get involved in saving our country, then the future course of our country, and the world, is not very bright.

Vinnie Schweda
My family immigrated to the U.S. from Italy when I was 8 years old. We settled in Chicago, where my father worked two jobs and my Mom also worked in order to buy a home. We lived 5 people in a 3-room basement apartment. My parents were Republicans, so I’ve been a Republican all my life. My husband and I moved to Green Valley in 2000. I have been associated with the TeaParty movement and RCGV/S in Green Valley for many years, and have been on the Board for three years. I am a very proud American. We need to change this country around.

Jim Stone
I was brought up in the Chicago area. College took me to Wisconsin and then Colorado. For the majority of my career I owned a manufacturers’ rep agency specializing in industrial safety, where I lived in Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. When I sold my business in 2007 my wife and I moved to Green Valley. I am again active in the safety industry and my wife works for a local property management company.
I must credit President Reagan with sharpening my interest in politics. During the Bush-Cheney years I was very active in politics at the national level. I was a marshal for their campaign. The National Republican Congressional Committee presented me with multiple “Businessman of the Year” awards. In 2004, the Republican National Committee named me a life member. I have served on the Board for three years, and would like to continue. We certainly have important work to do in the future and I look forward to it.

********************************

Hillary Rodham (Clinton) was fired for unethical conduct...
I checked this out, and it is real. Zeifman kept a diary, not knowing that his 27 year old subordinate would ever be in the national eye! Among other cited behavior, she wanted to prevent Nixon from having counsel, and then hid documents which would have put her in an unfavorable position. She is one of 3 subordinates to not receive a letter of recommendation upon leaving from Mr. Zeifman in his 17 years as staff attorney for the House Judiciary Committee. Mr. Zeifman is a long-standing Democrat!
